No Wave Site, founded by Emily Steinfeld in 2013 (formerly known as Boss Projects), is a project studio. This means we are medium-agnostic, using whatever medium serves the project best. We specialize in creating non-traditional websites and non-sites, as well as creating spaces and commissions that raise questions about the best ways to communicate the breadth of an organization or an individual. We also consider how we can prioritize the workers involved and determine the most suitable mode for each situation. Sometimes, taking a simple course of action may involve deviating from the typical route. 🌊

We help to figure out the best platform (be it web-based, social media, various types of mail, smoke signals, or hand waves) that works best for you and aligns with what you aim to convey to the world.
